Ginger sliced pork is THE comfort dish for both my hubby and I. He cooked this dish frequently but never teaches me how to do it. Finally, I reminded him about it and here’s the recipe.

200-300g pork loin
1 tablespoon soya sauce for marinate and1 tablespoon for sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon huadiao wine
1 teaspoon corn flour
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1-2 thumb size ginger, depending on your preference, sliced into thin strips
1 tablespoon dark soya sauce
2 teaspoons sugar
1/4 cup hot water

1. Marinate pork with soya sauce, oyster sauce, huadiao wine and sesame oil. Coat pork with corn flour and set aside for 10 minutes.
2. Heat oil and stir fry ginger until fragrant in medium heat, close to turning brown.
3. Add pork and continue stir fry in medium heat until pink is near to gone.
4. Turn on high heat and add dark soya sauce, you should hear sizzling sound. Stir fry pork evenly colored in dark soya sauce.
5. Add sugar, soya sauce and water. Simmer for 30 seconds and it’s ready to serve.
