I have always been crazy over cereal prawns but my cholesterol level is a little on the high side so I would usually order cereal fish at zhi char place. My hubby is a pork lover and decided to try cooking cereal sliced pork and we were delighted with the results. The crux is the cereal!!

Ingredients:
1 slice of pork loin, cut into slices
Nestlé cereal, quantity depending on your preference
50g butter
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon huadiao wine
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 egg; separate egg yolk from egg white
1 teaspoon corn flour
Cooking oil for pan frying
A handful of curry leaves
3-4 chilli padi

Preparation:
Marinate pork loin slices with oyster sauce, huadiao wine, salt, sugar and egg white for about 5-10minutes
Coat pork slices lightly with corn flour
Pan fry pork slices and keep aside
Melt butter and add curry leaves and chilli padi, fry until fragrant
Add cereal and stir fry and finally add pork slices, stir fry a little and it’s ready to serve
